Vlad Shpilsky

Vlad Shpilsky is the Head of Platforms and Technology and the Chief Information Officer for TD. In this role, Vlad works with business partners across the Bank to deliver technology solutions, manage data, and protect our customers and colleagues.

Vlad has more than 20 years of leadership experience at global financial services organizations in diverse technology functions, including global information technology operations, strategy, and software engineering. He also has extensive experience in digital banking, payments, treasury, wholesale credit, electronic trading, and data and risk management transformational programs.

Prior to joining TD in October 2024 as the CIO of the Bank's U.S. operations, Vlad spent 13 years at Bank of America, most recently serving as the Global Banking CIO where he led all aspects of technology delivery and strategy across Global Corporate and Investment Banking, Commercial and Business Banking, Global Payments, and Enterprise Credit.

Prior to Bank of America, Vlad spent 10 years at Credit Suisse in equity derivates and electronic trading. Vlad is a passionate community builder and committed to leveraging his expertise to help others succeed. He is also a certified leadership coach. Vlad holds a graduate degree in Computer Science from SUNY Stony Brook and resides in New Jersey with his family.
