*Annual Percentage Yield (APY) is accurate as of  and subject to change after the account is opened. Fees may reduce earnings on the account. Aggregate balances over $25 million are subject to negotiated interest rates.

annual percentage yield (APY) is only available to customers who maintain at least $100,000 on deposit in their account TD Signature Savings AND link an eligible account (relationship bump rate).  TD Signature Savings rates are based off of amount on deposit (tiered interest rates) and whether you qualify for a relationship bump rate. The same rate may apply to multiple tiers.  For a complete list of each TD Signature Savings tier (with corresponding APY and minimum balances), see TD Signature Savings interest rates.

1TD Signature Savings: Enjoy a relationship bump rate when you link an eligible account, which includes a TD Bank personal mortgage, home equity or credit card OR an active personal or small business checking account WITH at least three Customer-initiated deposit, withdrawal, transfer or payment transactions posted each calendar month OR an active personal or small business checking account WITH a direct deposit each calendar month. See the Personal Deposit Account Agreement for more details.

2For TD Signature Savings accounts, TD fees waived regardless of balance, and non-TD fees, which includes any surcharges at the time of your transaction, will be reimbursed when the minimum daily balance in the TD Signature Savings account is at least $2,500. The institution that owns the terminal (or the network) may assess a fee (surcharge) at the time of your transaction, including balance inquiries.

3Overdraft Services do not apply to TD Essential Banking Accounts. We may decline or return transactions that would result in an overdraft. Transactions that you make may cause your Account to overdraw but we will not assess your TD Essential Banking Account an overdraft fee. For example, preauthorized transactions and other transactions may post to your Account even when the available balance in your Account is not sufficient to pay the transaction.

4For deposits made on Saturday, Sunday or a federal holiday, add an additional business day when estimating funds availability. If a deposit is made on a business day followed by a Saturday, Sunday or a federal holiday funds may still be made available on the following day.

In some cases, funds deposited by check may be delayed for a longer period than our Standard Funds Availability. If you’ve deposited checks totaling more than $5,525 in one day, the first $100 is immediately available, an additional $5,425 will be available no later than the first (1st) business day after the date of deposit, and the remainder may be held up to seven (7) business days after the date of deposit. If a hold is placed because we have reason to believe a check may be uncollectible, the full amount of the check may be held up to seven (7) business days after the date of deposit. This hold supersedes any prior availability provided to you, including the initial $100 provided on the date of deposit. Please refer to the Funds Availability Section of the Personal Deposit Account Agreement for additional information.

5Cash deposits made at a TD Bank ATM on the business day your account is opened will not be available until the first (1st) business day after the date of your deposit.
