This spring, TD Global Investment Solutions will be travelling to eight cities across Canada for the 21st annual Sharing of Knowledge Learning Series. This in-person regional event features institutional leaders from TD Asset Management Inc. (TDAM) and Epoch Investment Partners, Inc. (TD Epoch) as they share thought provoking insights and the latest industry trends.

Kevin Hebner, PhD

Managing Director, Global Portfolio Management, Epoch Investment Partners, Inc.

Kevin is a global investment strategist. Prior to joining Epoch Investment Partners, Inc. (TD Epoch) in 2016, Kevin served as a senior FX strategist at J.P. Morgan Securities. Before J.P. Morgan, Kevin worked as a global investment strategist at Third Wave Global Investors, Citigroup Asset Management and Credit Suisse Asset Management. Prior to Credit Suisse, Kevin worked at the Bank of Japan. In addition, Kevin was a visiting professor at Kyoto University. Kevin earned a BA in Economics from the University of Toronto and graduated from Queen's University with a PhD in Financial Economics and a MA in Economics.

Kevin will present in Calgary, Edmonton, Québec, Regina, Saskatoon, Winnipeg and Vancouver.

 

Carl Elia, CFA

Vice President & Director, TD Asset Management Inc.  

Carl is a senior member of the Infrastructure Investments team, responsible for investment strategy and execution, operations and client servicing for the TD Greystone Infrastructure Fund. He has experience across infrastructure investing, private equity and investment banking. He was previously Vice President at a private equity firm and Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions at a major Global alternative asset manager. Post-MBA, Carl developed his career as an Associate in investment banking at various securities firms. Pre-MBA, he gained experience in business development at a multi-unit franchise operator. Carl holds a B. Comm. from the Toronto Metropolitan University and an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.

Carl will present in Edmonton, Montréal, Québec and Saskatoon.

 

Scott Henshaw, CFA

Vice President & Director, TD Asset Management Inc.

Scott is a Senior Client Portfolio Manager for Alternatives and Private Credit strategies where he structures solutions to meet client objectives by communicating and delivering the Private Credit team's toolkit and expertise. Scott also writes thought leadership papers and fund and macroeconomic commentaries, and is a subject matter expert in portfolio reviews, finalist presentations, business development meetings and conferences. Scott leverages his knowledge of client, portfolios and process to create a positive client experience. He started his career as an investment banker (M&A, Private Equity) before moving to buy-side roles in derivative-based portfolio management and private debt. Scott holds a B.A. with Honours in Economics from Queen’s University, an M.A. in Economics from the University of Victoria and an MBA from Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. He also sat on the Institutional Asset Management Committee of the Toronto CFA Society for over a decade.

Chi-Wei Danny Hong, CPA, CA

Vice President, TD Asset Management Inc.

Danny is a Vice President on the Infrastructure Investment Team, supporting business development, transaction strategy and market research to identify transaction opportunitiesHe leads the financial due diligence, asset management and valuation processesHe previously gained experience as an Associate at a pension plan for a major Canadian company covering infrastructure investments, and as a Senior Accountant at a major global accounting firm. Danny holds a B. Comm. from Queen's University. He is also a member of the board of directors for Connecticut Service Plazas Inc., Alberta PowerLine LP and Enfinite Infrastructure Group Inc.

Danny will present in Calgary and Vancouver.

John Parisella

Special Advisor, Strategy and Outreach at NATIONAL Public Relations and Visiting Professor at the CÉRIUM of the University of Montreal

John Parisella is a well-known and respected figure in Quebec, having occupied, during his career, many functions in the public scene, notably as chief of staff of Premiers Robert Bourassa and Daniel Johnson Jr, as author, as manager in business and philanthropy, as political analyst and as Delegate General of Quebec in New York and Washington.

In recent years, he has become a privileged observer of American politics. He also regularly comments on it in La Presse and on the TVA network. He is a speaker on several forums and is the author of four books including “La Politique dans la peau”, which discusses his years in politics.

John Parisella sits on several boards of directors, such as the Port of Montreal, the Fondation pour la langue française, the Old Brewery Mission and the Canadian Global Affairs Institute. He was named a Member of the Order of Canada in 2017 and an Officer of the Ordre national du Québec in 2016. He is currently Special Advisor, Strategy and Outreach at NATIONAL Public Relations and Visiting Professor at the CÉRIUM of the University of Montreal. He is also a recipient of the Medal of the Foreign Policy Association of New York.

Naoum Tabet

Managing Director, Lead of the Institutional Client Portfolio Management Team, TD Asset Management Inc.

As Lead of the Institutional Client Portfolio Management Team, Naoum structures solutions to meet client objectives by leveraging the team's toolkit and expertise. He writes thought leadership pieces and fund and macroeconomic commentaries. He is a specialist in portfolio reviews, finalist presentations, business development meetings and conferences. He leverages knowledge of client, portfolio and process to create a positive client experience and has amassed extensive fixed-income experience with large asset managers in both the U.K. and Canada. Naoum holds a B. Comm. in Finance and Economics and an MBA, both from Concordia University.

Naoum will present in Montréal.

 

Pierre Wehbi, CFA, ASA

Vice President & Director, Client Relationship Manager, TD Global Investment Solutions

Pierre is responsible for the quality of the overall client service relationship at TD Global Investment Solutions, maintaining ongoing dialogue with clients to ensure that the firm fully understands their current and evolving needs. He is a strategic partner at the firm, providing input to internal stakeholders on client-related matters. He oversees the Client Relationship Associate team lead, and in that role assists with talent management and business leadership. His industry experience from a broad career includes roles at a major insurance company, a global asset manager and an investment consulting firm. Pierre holds a B.Sc. in Actuarial Mathematics and Finance from Concordia University.

Pierre will present in Montréal.
