Description
The Balance Reporting - Query provides you with easy access to balance and transaction information for your Deposit and Loan Accounts.
Accessing the Query Function
To access the Query page, simply click Query from the Reporting sub-menu.
You must have Balance Reporting service rights in order to access the Reporting menu.
How to Perform a Query
There are two different types of queries that can be performed:
Balance Query: Displays opening and closing balances and allows you to display the transaction details, by date, with a single click.
Transaction Query: Displays transaction details. This more advanced query allows you to search for specific transactions. Filters include transaction type, amount range, cheque number etc.
To perform query, complete the following steps:
Step 1 of 2: Select Query Criteria

Select the account(s) you wish to query from the Account Selection dropdown. Note: Only the first 25 accounts you have access to will be displayed in the dropdown. You can access additional accounts, if you have more than 25, by clicking the 'More Accounts' link.

Select a date range from the dropdown. Note: If you would like to enter a custom date range, select 'User Defined' from the dropdown and then enter the dates into the From and To fields. You can set a date range of up to 18 months for all reports except Loan Account Statement, which can be set at up to 120 days.

Select the type of query to perform (i.e. Balances or Transaction).

Click Next.
Result: If you selected a Balance query then the opening and closing balances for the account(s) and dates you specified are displayed. You will also see the Consolidated Balance Total displayed at the bottom.
Step 2 of 2: Select Transaction Criteria

Select which transactions you wish to find by selecting the appropriate check box next to the desired transactions.

Enter the dollar range to find (optional).

Enter the Cheque Number range to find (optional). Note: You can only enter Cheque Number ranges when you select to find by Cheque Serial Number.

Click Next.
Result: The Transactions that match your search criteria are displayed.
User Rights/Security/Sorting
- You can only perform queries on accounts to which you have been assigned access to in the Balance Reporting Service. Refer to your Balance Reporting User Profile for further details.
- By default the Results table will be displayed in account number then date order. You may change the sort order by clicking on the desired column heading. An arrow will display beside the column name that is used for the sort.
