Allows you to create a transfer using a template that you previously saved.

Transfers performed on a regular basis can be saved as Templates, in the Template Maintenance page or during the Create Transfer process. Once a transfer has been saved as a Template it can be modified and resaved or deleted in the Template Maintenance page.

All of the Same Currency templates that you have created will be available in the dropdown.

Up to 100 templates may display, sorted in alphanumeric order.

Button

When this button is clicked the page will be prefill with the details from the template you selected.

Note: Changes you make to the transfer will not be saved to the template.

From Account

Dropdown

Allows you to select the account to transfers funds from.

All of the accounts that have been assigned to you will display in this  dropdown with the exception of external accounts which can only be credited.

Sorted in account number order (i.e. branch then account).

To Account

Dropdown    

Allows you to select the account to transfer funds to. 

All of the accounts that have been assigned to you that have the same currency as the From Account will display in this dropdown. For example, if a Canadian Deposit Account is selected as a From account, the To account dropdown will be filtered to display only Canadian accounts.

The dropdown will be empty until a From Account is chosen. 
Sorted in account number order (i.e. branch then account).

Note: The To Account cannot be the same as the From Account.

Allows you to enter the amount you wish to transfer.

Allows you to define a description that will appear on the To Account’s monthly bank statement to help you identify where and why the funds were transferred.

Although you can enter your own description a default description will be assigned for you when you select the From Account. This default description ensures that you’ll know where the money was transferred From by displaying as ’FR' followed by the From Account’s transit and account number.  

Defaults to: Fr1234 1234567

Validates the information displayed and proceeds to the Step 2.

Step 2 of 3: Confirm

Displays all of the transfer information entered in Step 1 for you to review.

Allows you to return to Step 1 to modify the transfer.

Allows you to confirm the details of the transfer

Step 3 of 3 : Confirmation

Description

Displays all of the transfer information in Step 2 with the addition of:

Displays the ID assigned to the Transfer.  Each Transfer is assigned a unique number to differentiate the transfer in your company’s Audit Log.

Displays Transfer.

Last Modified On

Text

Displays the date that the transfer was  last modified.

By

Displays the User ID of the individual who last modified the transfer.

Authorization Status

Text

Displays the Authorization Status.

If no authorization or authentication is required, the authorization status will display as ‘No Authorization Required’ otherwise it will display ‘Pend/Auth’.

Processed

Text

Displays the date and time that the transfer was processed.

If no authorization or authentication is required, the date and time the transfer was initiated is displayed otherwise it will be blank since the transfer still requires authorization.

Transfer Status

Text

Displays the Transfer Status.

If no authorization or authentication is required, the status with be either Rejected or Successful otherwise it will be blank since the transfer still requires authorization.

Reason

Text

Displays the specific details with regards to the Transfer Status (e.g. why a transfer was rejected).

Make Another Transfer

Button

Returns you to Step 1 of the Create a Transfer process.

Business Rules

  1. Only accounts to which you have been granted access in your User Profile will be available for your use in a transfer.

  2. Transfers can be made between accounts of the same currency.

  3. Transfers can only be made between accounts at TD Bank.

  4. Only credits are allowed to external accounts.

  5. The amount of individual transfers as well as the combined total of transfers are checked against limits that have been defined in your company profile.
